How we use and look after your details. Plain English, no small print. Last updated October 2026.

Who we are

Stache Tech is Will and Morgan, a small PC build, repair and tech support business in Port Talbot, South Wales. We decide how your details are used, so under UK data protection law we're responsible for them. Questions about anything here: [email protected].

What we keep, and why

The legal basis is that we need these details to give you a quote and do the work you've asked for (a contract), and for invoices, because the law requires us to keep tax records. We never ask for or keep your passwords.

Who else handles them

We don't sell or share your details. We use a few services to run things, and they only process details on our behalf:

Some of these companies are based in the US. They protect data sent there with the UK's approved safeguards.

How long we keep things

Files on your device are yours. We only look at what we need to for the job, and we don't copy anything off it unless you've asked us to move your data.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them (unless the law says we have to keep something, like an invoice). You can also object to how we use them. Just email [email protected], and we'll reply within a month.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
